A decision before you leave
Open the app and get a clear three-hour riding outlook for your current location—not an all-day forecast that buries the moment that matters.
WeatherToRide checks what you will meet now, along the road, and on the way home—then gives you one clear answer: is today a good day to ride?

Conditions stay comfortable with low rain risk and manageable wind.
Weather apps tell you what the sky might do. WeatherToRide explains what those conditions mean for the ride you are actually about to take.

Plan departure and return times. WeatherToRide samples conditions along the route so a perfect morning cannot hide a rough ride home.
Weather safety, comfort, rain risk, wind, visibility, and verified route traffic are scored separately with plain-language reasons.
Tell WeatherToRide when you are leaving and when you expect to return. It estimates where you will be along the route at those times, then checks the conditions at each meaningful point.
Plan your first rideConclusion first, evidence second. Expand the details when you want them, or glance at the score while you are getting ready to leave.
Light rain does not count the same as lightning, hail, ice, poor visibility, or dangerous gusts. Serious hazards can override an otherwise comfortable score.
Heat, humidity, full gear, and stop-and-go traffic are a different ride than moving air on an open road.
Search addresses, businesses, landmarks, parks, restaurants, fuel stops, and the places riders actually use.
Get specific gear and comfort guidance: rain layers, hydration, clear visors, insulation, sunscreen, fogging, and crosswind reminders.
The app distinguishes verified route data from weather-based inferences and simply leaves out factors it cannot support.
A small chance of drizzle is inconvenient. Lightning, freezing rain, hail, extreme wind, and near-zero visibility can be decisive. The rules reflect that difference.
“I was tired of checking the forecast, riding anyway, and still getting caught out. I was just as tired of taking the car only to discover it was a beautiful day to be on the bike.”
Nothing answered the full question—the route, the timing, the return, the traffic, and what the conditions actually feel like in riding gear. Someone had to build it. It might as well be a rider who needed it.

Motorcycle riders come first. The underlying scoring model is designed to grow into convertibles, side-by-sides, ATVs, bicycles, and other weather-sensitive rides.
No. It is decision support, not a safety certification. Conditions change, forecasts have uncertainty, and official weather and emergency warnings always take precedence.
